There I was, a young little girl on her way to start her own business. As a wild cat I was running to the bank for a loan, searching for an accountant, recruiting personnel and of course recruiting the first customers! In just a few months I had convinced my first clients. Whoop, whoop, this was it! I was so excited, I felt “on top of the world ‘! This was my playtime, this was my chance to show the world who I really was,….

I started to paint the office in a red wine colour and as a business tiger I had one appointment after the other. It was my way and it felt like an effortless way. I combined my busy wild life with coaching my dreamteam staff (three at the time), I handled my administration, did the intake interviews with candidates and made sure my own duties as a single lady were dealed with as well. Cleaning my house, doing my laundry, cooking and working… Working, I was always working, in my bed, in my bath, even in the car while I was driving… The fact of the manner was that a wild 21-year-old blonde girl in this business area was hot news… So I received some media attention as well.

With some regularity, I was interviewed by magazines and I could not even count on the broad interest of one of the most known TV shows ‘Jambers’. He was looking for “successful entrepreneurs” for his reportage on the broadcasting network, VTM. Successful? Was he right? How could you actually measure what my success was? Not by my bank accountant at that time, hell no!!! But the fact that they saw womething in my profile gave my the confirmation that I had booked some success! So I enthusiastically participated in the TV program. That proved to be a hit because the phone just kept ringing the day after the broadcast of the TV-show. The most striking was the phone call from Mr. Stefaan Bettens, CEO of Red Bull! I was glued to the phone. Wow, you see … I was going to make it!!! I just knew it,…Mister Branson was warned, this Alfa-Business woman was on her way baby!

NEXT WEEK PART 3: BOOM!

TRANSLATION IN DUTCH

Toch?!
